  • HEAD TRAINER / OWNER / FOUNDER

    Cameron Brown is our founder, owner, and head personal trainer.

    When Cameron was 13 years old he decided he wanted to begin exercising and learning nutrition. It changed his life and by the time he ended 8th grade he had decided to one day become a personal trainer.

    He has coached over 4,000 clients from all walks of life and with varying goals goals - from 600lb.+ clients making their first steps in their fitness journey, to professional athletes, and everything in between. He has lovingly crafted the Evolution Fitness personal training and nutrition transformation program used by all our trainers, drawing on experience of having completed over 50,000 coaching sessions since he began training in 2006.

    Each Evolution Fitness trainer possesses not only a nationally accredited certification, but also must complete and in-depth in-house certification one-on-one with Cameron so that no matter which trainer you meet with, you receive the same level of service are taken through the same customized process that has helped thousands of clients to achieve and sustain their health and fitness goals.

    Cameron has a passion for learning and continuing to adapt and improve our personal training program. He has always believed that lifestyle change is better accomplished by being helped by a friend than being yelled at by a bully. He is excited to help you achieve the benefits that have changed his life.


  • I fell in love with fitness and nutrition when I was just 12 years old - my journey started with Tae Bo videos in my bedroom, when I wasn’t playing sports.

    In junior high l I got a gym membership, and would wake up to work out before school started.

    I completed an internship at a local gym and met my good friend, Cameron Brown our senior year. I later completed massage school and my personal training certifications. I became a mom and continued my health and fitness journey because I loved how it made me feel.

    I am passionate about helping others create their best life, through developing a healthy relationship with food and creating a strong body and mind through healthy habits and lifestyle change.

    I love Evolution Fitness because it captures a sense of love and community that you can feel and see on the many smiling faces of members and staff right when you walk through the doors.


  • I have always been interested in health and fitness. I studied kinesiology at Utah State University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree. It was through these studies that I decided I wanted to become a personal trainer. The human body is amazing and it allows life to be lived!

    I enjoy personal training because I get to help and cheer on people as they change their lives. By gaining healthy exercise and nutritional habits, these people have more energy and mobility to accomplish personal and professional goals.

    What I love about Evolution Fitness is that we have a community of people working on their goals together. The support found in this gym is truly special!

  • Jana grew up in Utah, and she and her husband have three wild boys. While her boys keep her busy, she also enjoys reading, shopping, traveling, an intense workout, spending time with family, and anything outdoors.

    Jana has a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their fitness goals. She believes that working out not only benefits your body but also your mind. After not seeing the results she desired while working out on her own, Jana joined Evolution Fitness. She began working with a personal trainer, who taught her proper nutrition, integrated program design, and technique. Acquiring the tools and knowledge of proper fitness helped Jana achieve the results she always wanted and inspired her to help others do the same. Jana believes knowledge is power. Let her help you gain the knowledge you need to reach your fitness goals and achieve a healthy lifestyle.

  • Fitness became part of my life over 10 years ago, when my eager young self started training with Cameron.

    I had just began my days as a college student at Weber state university, but had no idea what I wanted to study or pursue.

    The problem I had quickly found a solution in fitness. It became an obsession and I was able to finally declare a major!

    I graduated from Weber state with a degree in exercise science. I migrated from gym to gym over the following three years, and even owned my own gym for three years.

    Evolution is where my career started, and it’s where I returned early in 2021. What I love about Evolution is that we are friends and family, not just a faceless gym member with an ID card.

    My specialties lie in athletics, and powerlifting, and a deep understanding of kinesiology and biomechanics. Things shouldn't hurt while you’re lifting! (If they do, I can fix that.)

  • I've been a certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness instructor for over 20 years. I truly believe I was put on the planet to inspire and motivate others to completely transformation their lives through fitness and nutrition.

    As a teenager I would "make" my friend's come over to my house at 5:30 am and we would pop in a Jane Fonda VHS workout video and workout together - I absolutely love working out.

    Fitness is my life. I love being the trainer in the corner, coaching, educating, guiding, motivating, and inspiring others through their transformation. I am honored to get a front row seat to incredible transformations.

    I love Evolution Fitness because we are a family. Everyone knows everyone, and cheers each other on. With 20 plus years in the industry I have never found a gym that feels so much like home to me.


  • I have been lucky enough to work in the fitness industry for over 30 years. I have taught many formats of group fitness classes, and have done both group and personal training. I'm an NASM-certified personal trainer with certifications in group fitness, nutrition, cycling, kickboxing, pilates and more.

    I'm a wife, mom to 7 awesome kids, and grandma to 5. I understand how busy life can be. I know from personal experience that when you take the time to exercise and fuel your body properly, you will feel better physically, mentally and emotionally. I believe that exercise and healthy food are the best medicine for our bodies.

    I love working at Evolution, and seeing the members’ and employee's smiling faces. I believe in Evolution's program that combines nutrition, exercise and accountability.

  • My goals are: to empower people with proper knowledge and skills; to help people realize just how much the body is capable of; and to guide them on their journey to becoming their best self. Everyone is a fighter and will win life's battles with consistency and courage!

    I am a wife and mother of 5. I grew up in Orange County, California, and later moved to Layton, Utah. I enjoy exercising, laughing, date night, a new outfit, spending time with family, good movies, messy buns, and pedicures.

    I help my clients change their eating habits to properly fuel the body, because looking good and feeling good go hand in hand. Proper nutrition is a lifestyle, not an attempt at a diet.

    I guide my clients to showing up, sweating, then tackling the day. If it doesn't challenge you it won't change you.

    What I love about Evolution Fitness is the overall inclusive and happy atmosphere. Everyone is welcome and everyone is part of the Evofam!

  • Brynleigh is a Weber state graduate with a minor in nutrition education and has her NASM CPT. She is passionate about making “diet and exercise” something exciting and enjoyable!

    “I started working out here as a client of Cameron’s and it altered so much of my life that I wanted to take what I had learned and help other people do the same with their life! There is a confidence that comes when you choose to take care of yourself and become the person YOU have always wanted to be!”

  • I am passionate about making “diet and exercise” something exciting and enjoyable!

    I grew up as a dancer which is what sparked my love for fitness. After graduating high school, I struggled to find a way to stay active that filled me with the same level of fulfillment that dance gave me. I had to reset and figure out some new goals. I got married to my best friend, and together we have 3 active and very busy boys.

    Along the way I experienced depression and anxiety where I had to learn skills that helped keep me going. One of these key skills was to stay physically active and prioritize my health.

    After having a bad experience with a personal trainer, and after hearing similar experiences from others around me, I decided there was a need for personal trainers who truly care about their clients. I want to help others know their worth, and help them change their habits and identity to some they can be proud of. I believe that health and fitness is so much more than just what takes place externally. It’s about what goes on inside. The internal changes that happen not only physically, but mentally.

    I discovered first-hand how taking care of my health helped me be happier in all aspects of life – especially as a parent. I learned skills along the way that I believe will also help others with similar struggles. It’s about what goes on internally that creates long-term change.

    My goal as a trainer is to be someone who will always put your needs first and help you better all aspects of your health. Whatever your goal is, or even if you need help finding your goal, I want to be there to help you on your journey.

  • When I first stepped foot into a gym, I was overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start. I did mostly cardio and started getting into strength training a bit, but didn’t understand the proper techniques to help me reach my goals.

    Despite my challenges, I discovered small successes that strengthened my resolve to conquer one of the most daunting things on my bucket list: run a marathon.

    Training was hard, and I had to sacrifice a lot to get to that finish line, but it changed how I thought about fitness. It’s so much more than a number on a scale, or a time on a clock. Because I saw this change in my life, I wanted other people to experience it. This led me to getting certified as a personal trainer.

    This is why I love Evolution Fitness! We approach fitness from every angle to develop positive habits, and significant results that promote a lifetime of healthy choices.

  • I am a wife and a mother of 4 amazing kids. After my last daughter was born I was over weight and trying to find a way to loose weight and feel better about myself. I started counting macros and found group fitness classes and absolutely loved it. I quickly realized that I was not only was I loosing weight but I felt so much better mentally and physically.

    I decided to become certified in teaching Highfitness and Upbeat barre. I have been teaching classes for a few years at Evolution Fitness. The atmosphere and people at this gym cannot be beat. Making my classes feel like a safe place and welcoming to everyone is my highest priority. In my classes we have a community of people that help motivate and encourage each other that has built lifelong friendships.

    I felt like I could do more to help people reach their goals and find happiness in a healthy, active lifestyle. I decided to become a CPT I have been learning from the best trainers out there. Training, coaching and teaching classes is my passion. Whether it’s your first time at a gym or trying to reach a goal you’ve be after, I will be there to help you on your journey.
